She Rose Anyway

Women Rebuilding Life, Wealth, and Legacy

A podcast for women 40 to 70 who have been knocked down by life and are rising anyway. Real stories.
Real struggles. Real wisdom. Because the woman who went through fire has wisdom the world needs.

How She Rose Anyway Was Born

She Rose Anyway was not born in a boardroom or a business plan. It was born in the ashes. After surviving open-heart surgery during the pandemic, losing both parents, facing family betrayal, and rebuilding her life at 69 on a fixed income, Bea Baylor realized no one was talking about the real version of starting over. Not the part where grief breaks your body. Not the part where the people you trusted most turn their backs on you. Not the part where you are in your 60s, single, broken, and wondering if it is too late.

She decided to change that. She Rose Anyway is a safe table for women 40 to 70 who are ready to stop masking their pain and start rebuilding their lives, their wealth, and their legacy. Each episode walks through the six stages of the phoenix cycle with real women telling real stories. Because the woman who went through fire has wisdom the world needs.

Rise. Reclaim. Rebuild.

Meet Your Host: Bea Baylor

Bea Baylor survived open-heart surgery in the middle of a pandemic. She lost both parents her father to broken heart syndrome in 2014, her mother in 2024. She endured family betrayal, a relationship that consumed her loyalty without return, friends who disappeared when she needed them most, financial devastation, and a whole year without a car while living on a fixed income. But she rose anyway.

At 69 years old, Bea made one of the hardest decisions of her life. She closed her business, walked away from everything she had built, and lived on a fixed income while she healed. She spent four months in Thailand on a healing sabbatical. No clients, no hustle, no performing. Just Bea, sitting in the ashes long enough to find out what was still standing.

She came back to the United States on November 23, 2024, and she came back with a plan.Today Bea is a Business Ecosystem Architect, financial educator, licensed insurance agent, and author of The Financial Favor Legacy. Through Bea Baylor Ecosystem Group, her consulting and marketing practice, she helps women entrepreneurs and nonprofits build the systems, strategy, and legacy that outlast them. She hosts Wine Women & Wealth events where women gather to have real conversations about money, protection, and building wealth that lasts. And she has rebuilt her own financial life from the ground up to prove that it is never too late to start again.

This podcast is for women 40 to 70 who are ready to stop masking their pain and start building their legacy.Because the woman who went through fire has wisdom the world needs.

The Phoenix Cycle: How Women Rise

Every episode of She Rose Anyway follows the six stages of the phoenix cycle. Because the phoenix does not just rise. It goes through a full journey. And so do we.

01

The Burning

You have to acknowledge that something has to end.

Before any woman can rise, she has to name what is burning down around her. This is not failure. This is the fire doing its work. The burning is not the enemy. The burning is the beginning.

02

The Pause

You have to stop before you can start over.

Society tells women to keep moving. Push through. Stay strong. The pause is the most counter-cultural act a woman in crisis can take. You cannot rebuild on smoke. The pause is where clarity begins.

03

The Healing

You cannot rebuild on a wound you have not tended.

This is the inner work pillar. Therapy, grief, forgiveness, faith, community. Healing is not linear and it is not optional. This pillar is the most vulnerable and the most resonant for women 40 to 70.

04

The Rediscovery

Who are you, now that you are no longer who you were?

After loss, women discover they do not know themselves outside of the role they lost. This pillar is about excavation. What do you actually want? What were you before the world told you who to be? This is where identity reconstruction begins.

05

The Rebuild

Brick by brick, dollar by dollar, decision by decision.

Life does not rebuild itself. This is the wealth, strategy, and legacy pillar. Financial literacy, estate planning, business building, and reinvention after 50. The rebuild is not just emotional. It is architectural.

06

The Rising

She did not just survive. She became someone new.

The rising is not a return to who she was. The phoenix that rises from the ashes is not the same bird that burned. This pillar is about legacy, impact, and leading other women through their own fire.

Season 1: Walk the Phoenix Cycle With Us

Every episode moves you through a stage of the journey. From the burning to the rising, each conversation is a truth table for women who are ready to stop masking their pain and start rebuilding their lives.

EP2

When the Doctor Says It Is Serious

The Burning

Guest Episode

A health crisis does not ask for permission. A woman shares the moment a diagnosis or medical emergency became the fire that changed the entire direction of her life. Heart attacks, cancer, chronic illness, surgeries that should not have been survived. This conversation is for every woman whose body forced her to stop performing and start listening.

EP3

When Family Is the Fire

The Burning

Guest Episode

The most devastating fires are the ones that start inside the house. A woman speaks honestly about family betrayal and what it costs emotionally, financially, and spiritually. Siblings who turned their backs. Parents who chose sides. Children who disappeared. The people who were supposed to be safe became the source of the burning.

EP4

I Had to Get Still to Get Whole

The Pause

Guest Episode

Society tells women to keep moving. But what happens when a woman finally stops? A guest shares what her pause looked like and what it taught her that years of moving could not. Whether it was a trip, a season of silence, a breakdown, or simply choosing to grieve instead of hustle, the pause became the turning point.

EP5

When God Said Stop

The Pause

Guest Episode

Some pauses are chosen. Others are assigned. A woman shares how loss, illness, or crisis became a divine interruption that changed everything. When the life she had been living was taken from her, she discovered that the stillness was not punishment. It was preparation.

EP6

Therapy Saved My Life

The Healing

Guest Episode

You cannot rebuild on a wound you have not tended. A woman talks about the decision to get professional help and what real healing required. Breaking the silence around therapy in communities where seeking help is still seen as weakness. What the inner work actually looks like when you commit to it.

EP7

Grieving the People Who Are Still Alive

The Healing

Guest Episode

Not every loss comes with a funeral. Some of the deepest grief women carry is for relationships that ended without a death certificate. Estranged siblings. Absent children. Friends who vanished when the hard times came. A woman shares how she learned to grieve what never got a proper goodbye.

EP8

I Did Not Know Who I Was Without the Role

The Rediscovery

Guest Episode

Wife. Mother. Caregiver. Employee. Daughter. When those roles are stripped away by loss, divorce, or circumstance, many women discover they do not know who they are underneath the titles. A woman shares the journey of excavating her real identity and discovering what she actually wanted for the first time in her life.

EP9

Reinventing Yourself After 50

EP10

Building Wealth When You Are Starting Late

The Rebuild

EP11

From Broke to Built

The Rebuild

Guest Episode

A woman who rebuilt her financial life through entrepreneurship, a career pivot, or sheer determination shares the exact steps she took to go from financial devastation to financial stability. No filters. No highlight reel. Just the real decisions, the hard lessons, and the tools that made the difference.

EP12

She Became the Guide

The Rising

Guest Episode

The full circle. A woman who has walked every stage of the phoenix cycle shares what it means to rise not just for yourself but for the women coming behind you. The burning prepared her.
